Here’s an easy toddler activity…I don’t remember where the inspiration came from, somewhere on Pinterest…but it does require some preparation.
Supplies: some sort of lego-blocks, paper, marker/crayons that match the colors of your blocks, contact paper for laminating (optional…)
I built about 10 different “buildings,” then traced them onto notecard sized paper. I then colored them in, according to the colors of the blocks. After laminating each “building plan,” they were ready to be thrown into a bag with the necessary blocks for easy access when the playtime need arose!
The first time we tried these, it was sort of overwhelming for Pen Elaine, a young two, as an independent activity, but now that she’s closer to three, they are more fun.
